It was in May that we submitted a petition with a record number of signatures to Cabinet member for Housing, Danny Adilypour, with our reasonable requests to have a transparent plan to make Tulse Hill Estate livable. Since then we have been in a protracted back-and-forth with him in which he has offered nothing substantial. Back in July he did admit that there were hundreds of hazards across the estate that the Savills survey had identified, which four of them being outstanding risk-to-life hazards unresolved over a year after being spotted.  

We’ll continue to press him on our demands, but his responses are becoming more and more meagre. The possibility of dialogue may be drying up.
