After a summer of organising with our neighbours, we're already starting to grab headlines with our campaigns. The Guardian picked up our efforts to get the Council working on the roof of Greenleaf Close, as it had been leaking into the bedroom of one of our members for 7 months! This was leading to extensive damage throughout his flat until finally the ceiling collapsed. We're glad to see that our campaign has won a public apology from the Council, as well as a deadline for works on the roof to be completed.

We all have stories of repairs that go ignored, and this case is one among many. So the question stands - How has this been allowed to happen? And how long until something like it happens again?
